They’ve probably been doing it for a decade, if not longer. Instead, we get bullshit like UltraViolet — a giant middle finger to consumers. Wird Hollywood regiert von zynischen Douchebags, die ihre Kunden verachten?  Ja. Ist das der Grund, warum sie so etwas wie das oben Vorgeschlagene nicht auf die Reihe bekommen? Nur bedingt. Es ist der Grund für ACTA, SOPA, TPP, WIRWOLLENEUCHTÖTEN-Gesetzesvorhaben. Aber der Grund, warum sie gleichzeitig solche Angebote nicht hinbekommen, liegt in der Komplexität der Branchen. Lizenzen, Verträge, Exklusivrechte, Hunderte konkurrierende Unternehmen, Tausende weltweit, auf verschiedenen Ebenen der Wertschöpfung. Und Douchebags werden außerdem nie ihre eigenen Produkte kannibalisieren. Weil sie denken, die Welt verstanden zu haben und ein Anrecht auf Erfolg und Reichtum zu haben. Also Douchiness hilft auch nicht wirklich, aber es ist hardly der einzige Grund, warum sich alle betroffenen Branchen gleich dumm verhalten.
