Its over 50 years since Cuba kicked out the Mafia and big business interests that had been raping the island and seized control of their own destiny in a popular peoples revolution. Fifty years of the most nonsensical, inhumane and vindictive economic sanctions on the part of America that haven’t changed a thing, although they’ve caused huge unneccessary suffering. Cuba is not now, nor has it been for 50 years, a ‘threat’ to anyone. The American position is seen worldwide as cruel, crazy, farcical, but yet no American president has had the moral courage to end it. The people of Cuba have the right to be communist, socialist, or whatever the hell they want and its none of Americas business. Come on dudes, stop being such whiney, butt-hurt bullies just because you got your feathers ruffled half a century ago and end this shameful behaviour now. Have the guts after 50 years of doing the wrong thing to finally do the right thing, eh ?
